Citizens are engaging around services and decisions on issues which affect them now more than ever, yet governance remains aloof from citizen engagement. However, to make a success of future public sector governance we will need to find new ways to attract citizen participation whilst underlining the importance of governance to positive public outcomes. As such the summit will explore the innovative ways that organisations can adapt to the modern demands of the citizen.
We will be joined by Sarah Allan, Director of Capacity Building and Standards at Involve and Michael Lederer, Leader of Voluntary Engagement and Participation at Vorarlberg State Government, who will both make contributions about their experiences of citizen engagement.
